Cookies and API Integration
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
We also apply Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure user interactions (including first-party data) and Google signals to personalize ads. For details, please refer to the Google Analytics privacy.
Additionally, we use Meta (former Facebook) pixel and Conversions API integration to track site visitors, collect visitor data (including zero-party data), measure ad conversions, and retarget ads on Meta (including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp). For details, please refer to the Meta privacy policy.
Embedded/Linked Content
This site includes embedded or linked content (e.g., videos, maps, images, publications etc.) from other websites. For example, we use YouTube video embeds. Such embedded content behaves exactly the same as if you have visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (including ) to track traffic and apply retargeting on our site.
For details, please refer to the Google privacy policy.
With Google signals active, Google Analytics associates the visitation information it collects from our site with Google information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalization. This Google information may include your location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that partner with Google. This information is used to provide aggregated and anonymized insights into your cross-device behaviors.
These features are subject to the Google Analytics Advertising Features policies.
Google Fonts
For typography, our site uses Google Fonts.
To display the fonts that are not hosted locally (on our server), our site links and connects to the Google Font API. This, for example, relates to YouTube video embeds and Google Maps.
In such a case, Google (as a third party) hosts Google Fonts on its servers. As such, Google collects and logs your IP address and other information.
For details, please refer to the Google Privacy and Data Collection FAQ.
Data Retention Term
We store your personal data indefinitely. We can erase your personal data at any time at our own discretion.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Data Use Purposes
We use your personal data for communication, marketing, and client service purposes. For example, we use your personal data to email you our newsletters about our blog posts, articles, alerts, memos, news, updates, promotions, and special offers.
